This morning we were officially approved to offer a new option that allows veterinary professionals to earn credit for Veterinary Technology courses based on their knowledge and experience.
Veterinary professionals that have been working in the field can now take a comprehensive placement test to determine what credits can be applied because the student's knowledge is already where it needs to be for those subjects. This means that students can use their experience to lower their time to graduation, lower the cost of their education, and know exactly where they stand against the content veterinary technicians are expected to know.
We respect the knowledge and skill that are gained through hard work in the field and we believe it is important to recognize and provide an avenue for that to be applied in a Veterinary Technology program when those professional want to continue their education. We are so excited to be able to offer this option.
